Sarbajit Basu is a graduate student in the department of Electrical Engineering at New Mexico State University. With origins in Kolkata, India, Sarbajit is popularly known as 'Sam' across NMSU. Sam has a master's in electrical engineering from Texas Tech University. Sam strives for establishing a level-playing field and equality for every student across NMSU, with a keen interest in the well being of International students. Sam is a strong advocate for his Asian Indian Hindu ethnic identity.
