Elections for the Graduate Student Council Executive Team 2020-2021

Elections for the 2020-2021 Graduate Student Council will be held beginning at 6 pm MDT, April 22nd 2020, via online polls. Representatives for Graduate Student Organizations will receive information on how to vote via email. Please see our voter guide for candidate information. Open positions include:

President: The President of the council is responsible for coordinating council activities, enforcing bylaws, presiding over the proceedings of the General Council meetings, call meetings, and serve as the official council representative for the University.

Vice President: The Vice President is a member of all committees, assumes the duties of the President if they are unable to perform them, and will assume the office of the President, should the President leave office.

Secretary: The Secretary is responsible for keeping all records and minutes for the Council, and maintain the list of voting Council members and chartered GSOs, as well as recording meeting attendance.

Treasurer: The Treasurer is responsible for overseeing the disbursement of all funds in the possession of the council, keeping the budget, and provide documentation on financial procedures to council members.

Vice President of Activities: The Vice President of Activities is responsible for coordinating the Graduate Research and Arts Symposium, as well as facilitating the meetings of the council and any other Council events.

Webmaster: The Webmaster is responsible for maintaining this website with accurate information, meeting dates and locations, and minutes or notes from Council and Committee meetings.
